Alternative Permit Application Processing Procedures for Activities in Response to Hurricane Dorian
On September 3, 2019, the Savannah District Regulatory Division was approved to implement emergency permitting process procedures for all areas within the Savannah District regulatory boundary to address regulated impacts from Hurricane Dorian. Emergency permit authorization may be requested to expedite permitting of activities to avoid potential hazard to life, property, or risk of economic hardship. A public notice announcing these procedures was released on September 4, 2019 and are valid for 6 months (from September 3, 2019). The District has also coordinated emergency permitting procedures with representatives from various State and Federal resource agencies. A copy of our public notice, which contains information for submitting request(s) for emergency permit is located here https://www.sas.usace.army.mil/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=S7po4km1P24%3d&portalid=61.
