SAVANNAH, Ga. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will conduct two youth dove hunts at the Richard B. Russell Project Office Sept. 10 and 17, 2016. The hunts will begin at 2 p.m. and end at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Youth hunters must be 9 to 15 years of age. A parent or guardian must accompany youth participants and will be permitted to shoot along with the youth hunter. To sign up for the hunt, call Jeff Brooks at 800-944-7207 ext. 3424 no later than 5 p.m. on Sept. 8.

There will also be a Corps dove field available for the general public near Middleton for an Oct. 8 and 15 hunt.

Parents or guardians must be licensed in accordance with existing Georgia Game and Fish Regulations including the Migratory Bird Hunting License (H.I.P). All state regulations and bag limits will be strictly enforced.
