Email Notification of Public Notices and Attachments


Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Starting June 1, 2024, only those individuals or groups, who are subscribed to the system implemented in 2022 (Listserv), will receive an electronic notification to include all attachments of any Public Notices within the region(s) you identified. If you have previously subscribed, you do not need to take any additional action.  To subscribe, please complete this form and e-mail to cesas-rd@usace.army.mil or mail to: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ATTN: CESAS-RD, 100 West Oglethorpe Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31401-3604. You can modify or cancel your subscription at any time by submitting a revised form or by contacting our office.

The proposed action will occur on the Savannah River Below Augusta (SRBA) Federal Navigation Channel, which has an authorized depth of 9 feet, and authorized width of 90 feet.     To view the Special Public Notice (SPN), please click "Special Public Notice" below.  This SPN states that all electronic submittals must be made through the Regulatory Request System (RRS) at https://rrs.usace.army.mil.  In addition, our website will be updated and streamlined by removing content made available in the RRS and will now specifically focus on State and District-specific information. All Division websites will feature a consistent look and feel across all State/District pages.

OVERALL PROJECT PURPOSE: To construct a light industrial facility and distribution system within the northeastern metro-Atlanta area. The addition of this industrial distribution system would help increase the rate of e-commerce and expedite the distribution time to citizens within the metro-Atlanta area due to the proximity to key interstate nodes, such as I-285, I-985, and I-85.
