Email Notification of Public Notices and Attachments


Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Starting June 1, 2024, only those individuals or groups, who are subscribed to the system implemented in 2022 (Listserv), will receive an electronic notification to include all attachments of any Public Notices within the region(s) you identified. If you have previously subscribed, you do not need to take any additional action.  To subscribe, please complete this form and e-mail to cesas-rd@usace.army.mil or mail to: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ATTN: CESAS-RD, 100 West Oglethorpe Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31401-3604.     PROJECT NAME: Savannah District Mitigation Temporal Loss Calculator (TLC; SAS-2017-00592) COUNTY: N/A NEAREST NAMED WATERBODY: N/A OVERALL PROJECT PURPOSE: This TLC will be utilized by stakeholders and the Corps to calculate temporal losses of aquatic resources in circumstances in which permitted and/or unpermitted adverse impacts (for projects subject to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act occur before a permittee or responsible party secure the required compensatory mitigation offsets for a project (i.e., mitigation credits). This TLC will be utilized in circumstances where required compensatory mitigation offsets will then be provided after the commencement of aquatic resource adverse impacts for projects in the State of Georgia. Further, this calculator will be utilized for calculating the temporal losses of all types of aquatic resources (i.e., tidal wetlands, non-tidal wetlands, and non-tidal streams).     PROJECT NAME: 408-SAS-2025-0021 Savannah Yacht Center Dock Modification and Construction COUNTY: Chatham County, GA RELATED CIVIL WORKS PROJECTS: Savannah Harbor Federal Navigation Channel OVERALL PROJECT PURPOSE: The Savannah Yacht Center is proposing to modify their existing dock structures on the Savannah River. All proposed modifications will be located 100 feet or greater from the Savannah Harbor Federal Navigation Channel. The Savannah Yacht Center’s proposed action includes the extension of floating docks, construction of steel pipe piles, covered timber piers, and an extension of their ship lift.
