Email Notification of Public Notices and Attachments


Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Starting June 1, 2024, only those individuals or groups, who are subscribed to the system implemented in 2022 (Listserv), will receive an electronic notification to include all attachments of any Public Notices within the region(s) you identified. If you have previously subscribed, you do not need to take any additional action.  To subscribe, please complete this form and e-mail to cesas-rd@usace.army.mil or mail to: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ATTN: CESAS-RD, 100 West Oglethorpe Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31401-3604. You can modify or cancel your subscription at any time by submitting a revised form or by contacting our office.

    PROJECT NAME:  Amazon Data Center. COUNTY:  Douglas. NEAREST NAMED WATERBODY:  Chattahoochee River. OVERALL PROJECT PURPOSE:  To discharge fill material into 769 linear feet (0.089-acre) of intermittent stream and 0.082-acre of wetland, in conjunction with the construction of three (3) Amazon Web Services data center warehouses and one (1) substation with associated attendant infrastructure, including roadways, security buildings, and stormwater infrastructure.

    PROJECT NAME:  Vacuna East. COUNTY:  Camden. NEAREST NAMED WATERWAY:  Catfish Creek. OVERALL PROJECT PURPOSE:  To develop a residential subdivision, which would include roads, infrastructure, amenities, and open water ponds. The applicant indicates that there is a growing critical demand for affordable and available housing in the area.  The proximity to the existing school is desirable for young families with children.  Many variables were taken into consideration when choosing the project site, to include the following parameters:  to occur within the immediate geographic area of the subject property; access by major transportation arteries and public utilities, and the site should meet current county land use and zoning designations.
