Email Notification of Public Notices and Attachments


Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Starting June 1, 2024, only those individuals or groups, who are subscribed to the system implemented in 2022 (Listserv), will receive an electronic notification to include all attachments of any Public Notices within the region(s) you identified. If you have previously subscribed, you do not need to take any additional action.  To subscribe, please complete this form and e-mail to cesas-rd@usace.army.mil or mail to: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ATTN: CESAS-RD, 100 West Oglethorpe Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31401-3604. You can modify or cancel your subscription at any time by submitting a revised form or by contacting our office.

Public Notice Attachments No Longer Posted

As of June 1, 2024, if you are currently subscribed to our Listserv, you will automatically receive Public Notice attachments in an email for the region(s) you are interested in.  If you are currently not subscribed, please follow the instructions on the left, or contact the Project Manager for a specific public notice.

    PROJECT NAME: 408-SAS-2025-0020 Head of the South Regatta COUNTY: Richmond County, GA and Aiken County, SC RELATED CIVIL WORKS PROJECTS: Savannah River Below Augusta (SRBA) Federal Navigation Channel OVERALL PROJECT PURPOSE: The Augusta Rowing Club is proposing to host their annual Head of the South (HOTS) Rowing Regatta on the Savannah River, near the City of Augusta on November 9, 2025.   • Special Public Notice - Planning - Zipline Tower Augusta Levee and SRBA

    PROJECT NAME:  408-SAS-2025-0003 Zipline Tower Augusta Levee and SRBA. COUNTY:  Richmond County, Georgia. RELATED CIVIL WORKS PROJECTS:  Augusta Levee, Savannah River Below Augusta (SRBA) Federal Navigation Channel. OVERALL PROJECT PURPOSE:  The City of Augusta proposes to install a recreational zipline tower on the Augusta Levee using an existing building foundation and to construct an additional zipline platform on the 5th Street Freedom Bridge. Two zipline wires will connect the zipline tower and platform over the Savannah River Below Augusta (SRBA) Federal Navigation Channel.
