Members of the 542nd Forward Engineering Support Team - Advanced and a dam assessment team gather before the Mosul Dam in Iraq. The FEST-A was augmented with dam experts to conduct an assessment of the region’s fourth largest water and power source situated on the Tigris River north of the city of Mosul. The team is completing a six-month deployment supporting the Combined Joint Task Force with a wide array of engineering missions across the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
