Engineers Day 2006
Aaron Wahus (left), park operations manager at J. Strom Thurmond Project, receives a Charles F. Trainor Team Award for execution of 50th Anniversary Celebrations during Engineer's Day in 2006. The award, named after a civilian civil engineer who served the Savannah District for almost 40 years, recognizes any team or group of team members who apply innovative procedures or techniques that result in substantial financial or manpower savings. This also includes improved customer satisfaction, substantial reduction in project completion time, improved procedures, or overcoming significant difficulties while producing projects.
