The Savannah District deployed a 13-person Temporary Emergency Power Planning and Response Team to St. Thomas and St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands on August 14, ahead of Hurricane Erin to prepare for potential storm recovery efforts. The team staged FEMA generators at Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, to support priority sites identified by the Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency.
