Thurmond Lake 2023 primitive deer hunt dates set - first come, first

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, J. Strom Thurmond Project, Forest, Fish, and Wildlife section are now accepting registration for primitive weapons deer hunts in Bussey Point Corps Management Unit, located in Lincoln County, Georgia.

Parksville Day Use Area – Sink Hole Repairs Underway

PARKSVILLE, S.C. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, is pleased to announce the J. Strom Thurmond Project's subcontractor has begun repairs to the damaged road at Parksville Day Use Area. The damage was caused by a sink hole in February.
