Parksville, SC. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, J. Strom Thurmond Project has temporarily
closed Parksville Day Use Area due to a public safety concern resulting from a large sink hole in the entrance road.
Currently, there isn’t an estimated reopening date. Guests are asked to please refrain from entering the park at this time.
