SAVANNAH, Ga. – Members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District spoke to an estimated 150 parents and middle school students about potential engineering-related careers at Jenkins High School, Jan. 16. The event aimed to recruit middle school students to apply for the Jenkins School of Engineering, a special program of study within Chatham County with a focus on STEM—science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
