4th Infantry BCT Complex, Fort Stewart
An aerial view of a $306 million complex for Soldiers of the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team at Fort Stewart, Ga. Completed in 2011, the project converted 457-acres of forest into a multifacility development in just two years. It includes everything the brigade needs to fulfill daily operations: 20 barracks (accommodating 72 soldiers each), six company operations facilities, six tactical equipment maintenance facilities, a combined brigade/battalion headquarters building, physical fitness center, and a dining facility. This project was managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District under its military construction program.
