Brass Plate
Archaeologists are currently trying to determine the function of this artifact. The dimensions are 18 inches square by 1/2 inch thick, with a lip around the perimeter. There are no holes or attachment points on any surface. It is possible that this plate served some purpose in the powder room, or was associated with ordnance – as it is made of brass and is non-sparking.
