Col. Ronald Sturgeon, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District commander, presented Matthew Delano, Geotechnical and Hazardous, Toxic, Radioactive Waste branch chief, with a Certificate of Retirement and a Department of the Army Meritorious Civilian Service Medal after 43 years of federal service during his retirement ceremony, Jan. 3, 2024.
