SAVANNAH, Ga. – Colonel Ron Sturgeon took command of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, from Col. Joseph Geary, in a formal ceremony at 10 a.m., today, Aug. 4, 2023.
Brig. Gen. Daniel Hibner, commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ South Atlantic Division, officiated at the formal change of command ceremony in The DeSoto, Cumberland Ballroom, in Savannah, Georgia.
