ALBANY, Ga. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, working with local government officials, has completed the first pass picking up vegetative debris generated by Hurricane Michael in Terrell County, Ga. In anticipation of the second pass, residents should place any storm-generated vegetative debris along the side of the roadway before the morning of the county's scheduled date.
Terrell County’s second pass is scheduled to begin on Monday, December 3, 2018.
Under the Federal Emergency Management Agency's debris mission assignment, the Corps of Engineers’ contractors have already removed approximately 58,000 cubic yards of debris from Terrell County.
