Email Notification of Public Notices and Attachments


Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Starting June 1, 2024, only those individuals or groups, who are subscribed to the system implemented in 2022 (Listserv), will receive an electronic notification to include all attachments of any Public Notices within the region(s) you identified. If you have previously subscribed, you do not need to take any additional action.  To subscribe, please complete this form and e-mail to cesas-rd@usace.army.mil or mail to: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ATTN: CESAS-RD, 100 West Oglethorpe Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31401-3604.     The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District (Corps), in collaboration with the Georgia Ports Authority, has evaluated the feasibility of increasing transportation cost efficiencies in the deep draft Federal navigation channel at Brunswick Harbor, Glynn County, Georgia. An Integrated Feasibility Report (IFR)/Environmental Assessment (EA) and draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) under the authority of Section 1201 of the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) of 2016 and in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA), as amended, have been prepared to present the results of the study, to analyze impacts of the proposed measures on the environment, and to evaluate the effects of continued operations and maintenance (O&M) of the entire federal navigation channel.
