Big Oaks Recreation Area
Season
: Open year-round
Park Hours: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. unless actively fishing or boat launching.
Directions: Big Oaks is located off of US Hwy 29 in Hart County, Georgia,
approximately 1 mile from Hartwell Dam and the Georgia/South Carolina state line. It is next to the Hartwell Lake Office.
Amenities: Two lane launching ramp, restrooms, drinking water, picnic area, large picnic shelter (Reservable!), playground, courtesy dock, ramp security light, paved walking trail, accessible to persons with disabilities.
Fees: Picnic shelter can be reserved in advance for $100 per day ($150 per day beginning 01/01/2023).  $5 per vehicle for boat launching.

Broyles Recreation Area
Season
: Open year-round
Park Hours: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. unless actively fishing or boat launching
Directions: Broyles is located in Anderson County, South Carolina, near I-85 and Portman Marina. From I-85, take exit 11 (SC Hwy 24) and head towards Anderson approximately 1 mile. Take a right onto Hattons Ford Road and follow brown directional signs.
Amenities: Launching ramp (3 lanes), restrooms, drinking water, picnic area, picnic shelter (reservable!), playground, designated swim beach, courtesy dock, ramp security light, park host on-site, acccessible to persons with disabilities.
Fees: $5 fee per vehicle, regardless of activity, picnic shelter can be reserved in advance for $50 per day ($75 per day beginning 01/01/2023).

Elrod Ferry Recreation Area
Season
: Boat launching ramp open year-round (restrooms open seasonally); park open May 1 - Labor Day.
Park Hours: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. unless actively fishing or boat launching.
Directions: Elrod Ferry is located off of US Hwy 29 in Hart County, Georgia, approximately 2.5 miles north of the city of Hartwell and approximately 3 miles from the Hartwell Dam and the Georgia/South Carolina state line.
Amenities: Launching ramp, restrooms, drinking water, picnic area, 2 picnic shelters (reservable!), 2 playgrounds, 3 designated swim beach areas, facilities for handicapped, courtesy dock, ramp security light, volleyball court.
Fees: Picnic shelter can be reserved in advance for $50 per day ($75 per day beginning 01/01/2023).  $5 per vehicle day use fee regardless of activity.

Georgia River Recreation Area
Season
:  Area open year-round, restrooms and campground open seasonally.
Park Hours:  6 a.m. - 10 p.m. unless actively fishing.
Park Information:  Georgia River is located on the Savannah River just below the Hartwell Dam in Hart County, Georgia. It offers a great setting for fishing, primitive camping, walking or sightseeing. Restroom facilities are conveniently located in the park and there is a picnic area and several fishing piers.

Directions:  From Interstate 85 in GA, exit #177, proceed on GA Hwy 77 until the city of Hartwell. Take Hwy 29 north 6 miles, turn left at signs for Hartwell Dam & Powerplant. Enter into park - campground is located on the right side of the road.

From South Carolina, take Hwy 29 South, turn right immediately after crossing the bridge at the SC/GA border. Entry into park is located on the right side of the road.

Fees:  No fee for day use; Camping fee - $10 per night (seasonal)

Hattons Ford Recreation Area
Season
: Open year-round
Park Hours: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. unless actively fishing or boat launching
Directions: Hattons Ford Access is located in Anderson County, South Carolina. From I-85, take Exit 4 (turn to the east) - Old Dobbins Bridge Road, take a right on Andersonville Road and follow the brown directional signs. Hattons Ford ramp is located at the end of Andersonville Road.
Amenities: Launching ramp, picnic area, courtesy dock, ramp security light.

Fees:  $5 per vehicle for boat launching.

Poplar Springs Recreation Area

: Boat launching ramp open year-round; Park open May 1 - Labor Day.
Park Hours: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. unless actively fishing or boat launching.
Directions: Poplar Springs is located in Franklin County, Georgia. From Lavonia, Georgia, where GA 328 crosses I-85, go North on GA 328 for 3.5 miles, follow brown directional signs.
Amenities: Launching ramp, restrooms, courtesy dock, ramp security light, Picnic shelter, park host on-site.
Fees: $5 per vehicle for boat launching.  Shelter can be reserved for $50 per day ($75 per day beginning 01/01/2023).

Twin Lakes Recreation Area
Season
: Boat launching ramp is open year-round. Park is open May 1 - Labor Day.
Park Hours: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. unless actively fishing or boat launching
Directions: From Interstate 85 in SC, take exit #14, Hwy 187. Going north on Hwy 187 towards Pendleton, SC. Immediately after passing Clemson Research Center, take a left on Fant's Grove Road, follow directional signs to park.
Amenities: Launching ramp, restrooms, drinking water, picnic area, picnic shelter (Reservable!), courtesy dock, ramp security light, fishing pier, 2 designated swim beaches, playground.
